To be eligible, applicant must:
- Be the child of a Kentucky Farm Bureau member and remain such while the scholarship is in force
- Finish high school within the year they apply for the scholarship
- For the Leadership in Agriculture Scholarship, applicant's parents must be actively engaged in production ag

Louis Stout Memorial Scholarship
Two grants, each in the amount of a one-time scholarship of $2,000 payable to an institution of higher learning, will be awarded to 2022-2023 seniors. The scholarship is not renewable and is not endowed for expansion. Minimum criteria is a 3.5 (converted to 4.0 scale) grade point average; involvement in varsity sports or sport-activities; involvement in other school activities and a record of community service/involvement. Applicants with a knowledge of Mr. Stout and his accomplishments will be noted.

Applicants must:

lives or attends school in one of the following counties: Calloway, Daviess, Fayette, Franklin, Graves, Hancock, Henderson, Hopkins, Jefferson, Logan, McCracken, McLean, Shelby, Warren, Webster
