The Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana sponsors two scholarships. One is for college bound high school seniors and the other is for any degree/certificate seeking student who lives in Kentucky and Clark, Floyd, or Harrison counties in southern Indiana.

Shannon O' Daniel Memorial Scholarship
Vision: The recipient of the Shannon O'Daniel Memorial Scholarship should be a student who has shown courage in dealing with epilepsy and seizure, commitment to their education, and perseverance in eliminating the obstacles that epilepsy and seizures may present.

Scholarship Award requirements are:
- Is currently under a physician's care for epilepsy/seizures (i.e. neurological seizures);
- Is currently undergoing treatment and/or taking anticonvulsant medication(s);
- Can demonstrate their struggle to overcome adversity because of their epilepsy/seizures;
- Is a college freshman entering their Fall 2024 semester;
- Lives in Kentucky or Clark, Floyd, or Harrison counties in Indiana.
