At Independence Bank, we believe access to higher education can change lives. In 2025, we awarded more than $140,000 to over 70 graduating seniors, and since 2001, we've invested more than $1.9 million in students across our communities. This year, we're proud to surpass the $2 million milestone, and we couldn't do this without the support of educators like you who help connect students with meaningful opportunities!
Our scholarship program is designed to support students who demonstrate both a financial need and a strong sense of purpose. Our team is interested in applicants' goals, aspirations, where they come from, and who they are. Each student will be asked to type an essay, as well as submit their high school GPA, ACT scores, financial need, extracurricular activities, and volunteer tasks.
Applications may be completed online at www.1776bank.com/scholarships, and all applicants will be notified of their status via email in April.
If you have any questions, please contact us at scholarships@1776bank.com or reach out to your nearest Independence Bank location.
