Jack Marshall Memorial Scholarship
Home Builders Association of Western Kentucky
The Home Builders Association of Western Kentucky established the Jack Marshall Memorial Scholarship in 2004 to honor the life and service of Jack Marshall, a dedicated member and leader within the Association and the residential construction industry in Western Kentucky.
This scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating high school senior or recent graduate who plans to pursue postsecondary education in a construction-related field, including college, technical, or trade programs, and who resides within the Home Builders Association of Western Kentucky service area.
One scholarship in the amount of $1,500 will be awarded. Scholarship funds may be applied toward tuition, required fees, books, or other educational expenses at the institution the student chooses to attend.
The scholarship recipient will be recognized during their school’s Awards Day or honors program, as determined by the school.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Applicant must be a current high school senior or recent high school graduate
• Applicant must plan to enroll in a postsecondary program related to the building or construction industry
• Applicant must reside within the Home Builders Association of Western Kentucky service area
• Applicant must submit a completed application by the stated deadline
• Applicant must provide a current academic transcript
• Applicant must submit three letters of recommendation from non-family members
