SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM GUIDE LINES
A scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 will be given to a college/university or career/trade institution beginning student seeking degree or certification in a field supporting a better life quality in our community. The career should possibly be a service career or a professional degree in a service field.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM GUIDE LINES
A scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 will be given to a college/university or career/trade institution beginning student seeking degree or certification in a field supporting a better life quality in our community. The career should possibly be a service career or a professional degree in a service field.
Requirements to apply:
- The recipient shall reside in Marshall County, Kentucky – prefer Calvert-Sharpe Area.
- The recipient will graduate from Marshall County Schools or Christian Fellowship, or certified home school.
- The recipient should be a graduating senior with a Minimum GPA of 2.0 of a 4.0 overall (or equivalent) at the time of graduation and have completed at least one community service project
- In accordance with our Lions Club’s bylaws, an eligible recipient cannot be a member or a dependent of a member of the Calvert City Lions Club.
The application is due back to your school’s guidance counselor’s office by noon on May 2, 2022. All application will be collected by the Calvert City Lions Club Scholarship Committee and immediately screened for acceptance and consideration.
